Living in London it’s important to us that Saffi travels well on public transport – given how cramped the tube and train is at rush hour we decided to ease Saffi in gently and initially take her on the District Line, an overland tube, for just two stops at the weekend. She did brilliantly – I am constantly amazed at how she takes everything in her stride.

We then went for lunch – we don’t want her to get into the habit of begging at the table so we ignored her advances for food and eventually she gave up and settled for a nap !

All in all we were out for about 2 and a half hours – we’re gradually increasing the amount of time we’re out and about. She’s now passed out in her crate!
